House of Fire & Blood Episode 56 – “The Angriest Scribe”

This entry is part [part not set] of 55 in the series House of Fire & Blood

What if George R. R. Martin’s Fire and Blood was written more like HBO’s House of the Dragon? Caroline and Gretchen analyze Martin’s work from this perspective and search for hidden stories in the text.

Gretchen and Caroline are joined by YET ANOTHER FRIEND, Aashay! The group continues their analysis with the chapter The Dying of the Dragons: Rhaenyra Triumphant, Part 4. While Woke Daeron marches on Tumbleton, Alicent proposes extremely reasonable peace terms that would definitely work! But Rhaenyra is just too crazy and evil! Meanwhile, the bastards turn cloak and burn Tumbleton because bastards are treacherous by nature. We also learn about the sin of every gender 🙂

The half hour easter egg of this episode is about Bridgerton. This is not a Bridgerton podcast!
