House of Fire & Blood – Episode 10 “The Robert Frost Fan Club”

This entry is part 10 of 47 in the series House of Fire & Blood

This piece was written during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, the TV series being covered here wouldn’t exist.

What if George R. R. Martin’s Fire and Blood was written more like HBO’s House of the Dragon? Caroline and Gretchen analyze Martin’s work from this perspective and search for hidden stories in the text.

This week, Caroline and Gretchen continue their analysis of Fire & Blood with the fifth chapter, Prince Into King: The Ascension of Jaehaerys I. King Jaehaerys ascends the Mighty Gaming Chair with absolutely no one’s help, while Rhaena totally willingly concedes the throne, Faceless men abound in Old Town, and everyone for once chooses the path that is not currently on fire.
