Like Fandom?
Are you passionate when discussing your favorite movies or TV shows? Are you interested in makeup, fragrances, and lifestyle? Or are you more of a book person? All of the above?
We’re looking for new writers to add to our growing community of people who like talking about all things fandom. The Fandomentals is a homegrown network of fans from all over the world. We’re always looking to add to our geeky family.
While we run on volunteers, we offer editorial feedback (none of our editors draw a penny from this site either), and opportunities for press events, interviews, networking, and more. If you want to climb the networking ladder, we’ll do our damnedest to help you succeed!
One thing we’re especially passionate about is helping our writers grow in their work including help with navigating social media, digital journalism, and strengthening their writing skills. Plus we work to provide review copy where possible, like board games and TTRPGs.
We will never ask you to write clickbait pieces, our editors are accessible, and we understand that life happens. We’ve also started a growing Discord community for readers and writers to interact as they wish!
We’re always looking for writers in all of our areas of coverage but especially:
- Analysis
- Board and Video Games, and TTRPGs
- TV, Film, and Digital (any content from broadcast, cable, internet, and streaming)
- Books (adult, young adult, fantasy, etc.) and Comics
- Entertainment News
- Music
- Lifestyle (beauty, fashion, fitness, fragrance, etc.)
Of course, you’re welcome to pitch any areas of interest not listed above when applying.
