House of Fire & Blood – Episode 15 “A Collection of Treasons”

This entry is part 15 of 35 in the series House of Fire & Blood

This piece was written during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, the TV series being covered here wouldn’t exist.

What if George R. R. Martin’s Fire and Blood was written more like HBO’s House of the Dragon? Caroline and Gretchen analyze Martin’s work from this perspective and search for hidden stories in the text.

This week Caroline and Gretchen continue their analysis of Fire & Blood with the seventh chapter, A Surfeit of Rulers Section 3. Rogar Baratheon wins gold in the “Bad Decisions” competition, while Alyssa Velaryon totally, definitely retires. Oh, and Rhaena is passed over for the throne yet again.
