The Season 7 Carol Awards: Voting is Open!

Well, it’s that time of year again! And not at all a month or two later than originally intended!

That’s right everyone, Game of Thrones‘s fantastic, award-worthy Season 7 ended two months, and we’re still not over the fact that it aired too late to get the recognition it clearly deserved at this year’s Emmy Awards. So we’re here to rectify that with the 3rd Annual Carol Awards (in memoriam of our Good Queen Carol, even if her replacement Cheryl is doing her best).

Last year’s Carol Awards were a rollicking success, with empowered women like Faullaria Sand dominating in several categories. That’s what happens when you take such bold steps as to murder your own family in the name of revenge!

Will there be another sweep in the coveted Golden Carols this year, or was the dramatic satisfaction of the season more spread out? We’ll have to wait and see to be sure, though, with categories such as Most Plausible ImpossibilityThe Carol Award for OOC Excellence, and Finest Fanservice, we feel that the competition will be STIFF.

We’ll keep the Golden Carols polished on our end; what we need from you is to VOTE. You may want to brush up on Game of Thrones Season 7 first, but if you think you’re ready for it, then get your official ballot here. Voting will be open until 8pm EST/5pm PST on Thursday, November 16th.

As always, if there’s nominations you feel are missing, please let us know in the comments. That will help us in our special run-off category: “The Carol Award for Most Egregious Nomination Oversight.”

May the stylish hairdos give you strength and the best of luck to all Carol Award nominees. Remember, just getting onto the ballot at all is indicative of truly marvelous dramatic satisfaction and delight.
