Designed for 2–5 players with a 30–45-minute playtime, Solar Gardens transports players to a future where technology and nature thrive together in harmony. Every decision, every tile placed, is a step toward a hopeful, thriving future.

  • Draft and place square tiles representing greenery, solar panels, wind turbines, rainwater collectors, cultural hubs, and more to design a living rooftop ecosystem.
  • Create powerful synergies that boost energy production, biodiversity, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Manage resources and placement bonuses to balance beauty, biodiversity, and clean-energy output for maximum points.
  • Every playthrough presents new challenges and opportunities, encouraging both competitive and casual players to experiment with different strategies.

Developed by Eric Slauson (MonsDRAWsity), designed by Alex Cutler (The Wolves, Beacon Patrol), and illustrated in solarpunk style by Daniel ClarkeSolar Gardens “celebrates a future where technology and nature thrive together. Every tile placed is a small but meaningful step toward a flourishing tomorrow.”

Solar Gardens is made of biodegradable, plastic-free materials and uses paper stickers to hold the game box together in transit. As part of the National Forest Foundation’s Sapling Program, each copy sold helps fund reforestation efforts in U.S. national parks.
