Michelle Yeoh Kicks Ass In New ‘Witcher: Blood Origin’ Trailer And Character Art

Earlier today, Netflix revealed a sneak peek at their next production set in the world of The Witcher: The Witcher: Blood Origin. In a new teaser trailer, we get a look at our main heroes battling monsters and men alike including some classic action from the always awesome Michelle Yeoh.

Netflix has also given us a good look at some of our main characters: Laurence O’Fuarain as Fjall, Sophia Brown as Éile, and Michelle Yeoh as elven leader Scían. The series will be set on the Elven world 1,200 years before the setting of Andrzej Sapkowski‘s books and Netflix’s adaptation thereof. It’ll focus on the Conjunction of the Spheres, the astronomical event that brough all sorts of monsters (including humans) into the world, as well as the creation of the first Witchers to fight said monsters.

Declan de Barra (The Originals, Iron Fist) will act as executive producer and showrunner and Lauren Schmidt Hissrich (The Witcher) will act as executive producer. Andrzej Sapkowski will serve as creative consultant on the series. Jason Brown and Sean Daniel from Hivemind, and Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko from Platige Films will all serve as executive producers. This is Netflix’s second spinoff of their hit Witcher series after 2020’s The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf.
