Salvage Union Starter Set Coming To BackerKit Next Month

Leyline Press has announced their next project: The Salvage Union Starter Set, will launch on September 3, 2024 on BackerKit. It will include a new campaign, four rules booklets, themed dice, and more.

Salvage Union is a multi-ENNIE nominated, post-apocalyptic Mech tabletop RPG with easy to learn mechanics, voted People’s Choice Best Game at the UK Games Expo.

You play as salvager Mech pilots scouring the wastes for scrap in salvaged Mechs to help you and your community survive, within a world ruled by a corporate dystopia. 

The Salvage Union Starter Set is a box set containing everything players need to start playing Salvage Union. 

It includes: 

• A brand new introductory Salvage Union campaign set within the Central Wastes, taking your fledging band of salvagers, and their Union Crawler from the 1st to 3rd Tech Level of the game. 
• A fully illustrated campaign map of the Central Wastes with 10+ areas to explore.
• All of the rules you need to play the game split into four booklets

• The Core Rules booklet detailing everything you need to start playing Salvage Union. 
• The Campaign booklet detailing the areas, factions, and adversaries Pilots will encounter in the Central Wastes campaign, as well as guidance for The Mediator running the game on how to run the game and create an engaging experience for the players. 
• The Pilot Handbook detailing the game’s six Pilot Classes and their abilities as well as Pilot Equipment, including new options for the Starter Set.
• The Salvagers Weekly detailing all of the Mech Chassis, Systems, and Modules you can find, including brand new options for the Starter Set.

• A set of Salvage Union d20 dice unique to the Starter Set.
• Pre-made Pilot, Mech and Union Crawler sheets to quickly get you and your group into the wastes.
• Blank Pilot and Mech Sheets for crafting new Mechs and creating new Pilots.  
• A collection of handouts and quick reference sheets for the players.
