At the MIX Summer Game Showcase, Swedish indie publisher Raw Fury announced their ‘tower-survivor’ game Monsters Are Coming! Rock & Road and RPG hack-and-slash adventure Regions of Ruin: Runegate. In addition, Raw Fury unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming resource-management strategy game Craftlings and a new introductory trailer for the TTRPG-turned-CRPG Esoteric Ebb.

Furthermore, as part of June’s Steam Next Fest, Craftlings has a new demo, which is available now on Steam and Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road will begin a closed beta test later this month with sign-ups now open.

Developed by Ludogram, Monsters Are Coming! Rock & Road is a ‘tower-survivor’ (Tower Defense meets Horde Survivor) action roguelite where players must protect an ever-moving city from unrelenting hordes. Fortify custom builds, forage resources and fight through a never-ending army of darkness on the long road to the Arch. Do whatever it takes to make sure the city endures!

Monsters Are Coming! Rock & Road will launch on PC (Steam) soon. Wishlist the game on Steam here and sign up for the Closed Beta here. The first wave of invites is anticipated to go out later this month.

Developed by Gameclaw Studio, Regions of Ruin: Runegate is a new game in the universe of the beloved Regions of Ruin. In Regions of Ruin: Runegate, players embark on an explorative RPG hack-and-slash adventure as a lone dwarf attempting to re-establish a haven for their dwarven kin. Players will journey across varied lands, help those in need, gather resources and fight off goblins and monsters as they slowly rebuild a home for their fellow dwarves.

Viewers of The MIX Summer Showcase were treated to a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming colorful strategy game Craftlings, and players around the world can jump into a new demo during June’s Steam Next Fest.

Developed by ARIANO Games, Craftlings is a throwback to strategy games from the 90s, set in a vibrant fantasy world with diverse biomes. Craftlings are as diligent as they are hapless, and it’ll take a keen strategic mind and refined sense of resource management to channel these creatures’ unique focused energy into something productive and prevent them from plunging off the nearest cliff in their attempt to build their settlement. With the goal of tackling each level’s unique challenge, players will assign tasks, grow their settlement, optimize production chains, and upgrade their Town Hall to unlock new possibilities.

Craftlings will launch on PC later this year. Play the demo and wishlist the game on Steam here.

Initially announced earlier this year, the whimsical ESOTERIC EBB received a new trailer during the showcase. Within, developer Christoffer Bodegård introduced viewers to ESOTERIC EBB and its key elements.

ESOTERIC EBB is an isometric, Disco-like, TTRPG-turned-CRPG, featuring deep and branching dialogs with a staggering amount of choice set in an Arcanepunk-fantasy setting. In ESOTERIC EBB, the player is the Cleric, one of many menial laborers of the city of Norvik. Tasked to solve the mystery of an exploded Tea Shop, players will roll dice against the voices in their head, explore a fantasy city on the brink of its first-ever election, and strive to become a hero of legends. Or completely ruin the campaign.

More details on ESOTERIC EBB are coming soon. Wishlist the game on Steam here.
