A Quick Update on The Fandomentalist

April has come in like a lion for GretchenJulia, and Kylie, and…will continue to be a lion. Which means that try as we might, finding time for our beloved bi-monthly podcast is going to prove difficult.

For starters, Gretchen and Kylie will both be in Vegas this coming weekend at Clexacon, along with several other Fandomentals. Be sure to check out panel listings, and follow The Fandomentals twitter account for any updates on the floor. Some of these topics will sound quite familiar to listeners of this podcast. Quite…familiar

Secondly (and cards on the table—the bigger impetus for this quasi-hiatus) is that Kylie gets to play a fun game where she packs all her stuff into bags and moves it over 700 miles within the span of a couple of weeks! Yes, cat included.

You can hear her explain it herself below:

So never fear: we shall return, likely at the beginning of May. Which means that there’s a possibility we’ll have news other than the 20,000 reboots and remakes that we’ll surely have heard about by then. It also means there will be heart-pounding TV finales approaching, and fun summer programming announcements to sort through.

Thank you for your patience, and we’ll see you all then!
