Dungeons & Dragons have announced the newest D&D starter set: Heroes of the Borderlands. Anyone can set up and play D&D Starter Set: Heroes of the Borderlands in just minutes, making it the perfect entry point for curious players new to D&D. It will feature locations and stories based on the classic Gary Gygax adventure The Keep On The Borderlands.
Heroes of the Borderlands is, according to Wizards, the biggest D&D starter set ever made. It includes everything a new group needs to pick up and start playing right out of the box. This box is filled with things that will make your set-up and play easier such as physical maps, class boards, monster cards, spell cards, NPC cards, tokens, and dice. The included guides help walk newcomers through creating memorable characters, navigating classic D&D settings, forging through epic quests, fighting iconic monsters, and more. Three adventure booklets deliver fun that can be enjoyed in bite-sized, one-hour sessions, with no prior experience required. The “Ultimate Bundle” on D&D Beyond also includes 19 digital quickplay maps, premade characters, and a digital dice set.

Heroes of the Borderlands is available now for pre-order on D&D Beyond as both a physical box for $49.99, a digital product playable through D&D Beyond, or a bundle including both physical and digital versions of the set. Pre-orders are also available at local game stores and Amazon.
