CATAN Studio, the studio behind the Settlers of Catan board game series, is has announced the upcoming release of CATAN – Hawai’i, a new scenario designed for the CATAN – Seafarers expansion. With its picturesque landscapes and abundant fishing grounds, the CATAN Studio hopes it serves as an “exhilerating” new way to play.
Based on the popular CATAN – Seafarers expansion, CATAN – Hawai’i introduces players to the Pacific archipelago of the same name. Embark on a fishing excursion as you navigate the bountiful waters and utilize new and helpful abilities. Set sail with your fleet and immerse yourself in the rich and productive surroundings of this tropical paradise.

To play CATAN – Hawai’i, players will require select materials and rules from the CATAN base game and the CATAN – Seafarers expansion. Additionally, if played with 5 or 6 players, the 5-6 player extensions for CATAN and Seafarers are necessary. The new folio-style retail package includes a fold-out paper game board, 25 fish tokens, six fishing boats, six fish market tiles, fish conversion rules cards, victory point markers in six colors, and a rules sheet.
