Breaking Down the Stately new Kingsman Trailer

Do you like stylized action? Do you like gadgets and/or gizmos? Do you like accents? Do you like… skipping rope? If so, it sounds like Kingsman: The Golden Circle is for you.

Like I said in the breakdown of the teaser trailer, I am eagerly awaiting the release of this movie, and have developed a love for the first, despite initial doubts. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a second trailer, and today finally saw my prayers answered. You can check out the trailer below:

Just like last time, there is a whole lot to process in this trailer, but some details are becoming clearer. The Kingsmen have been hunted to near extinction by a new villain played by Julianne Moore (though it appears her henchmen are wearing the same snowsuits as those from the first, so maybe there is some connection), and in their desperation, Eggsy and Merlin turn to their “American cousins” for help.

I was a little underwhelmed with the first trailer, but this one has me back on board 1000%. Eggsy is slaughtering what appear to be ice cream men, or perhaps meat vendors. Jeff Bridges has GOLDEN RIMMED GLASSES! There are new gadgets AND gizmos. There’s a poorly CGI’d Statue of Liberty. I’m here for it, all of it, give it to me now!

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until September 22nd when Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits theaters, to see what exactly we have in store.

Do you share my excitement? Do you have your doubts? Let us know in the comments below.
