Watch the Gorgeous Reveal Teaser for Frozen 2

I suppose this doesn’t come as any surprise, considering the original Frozen was a juggernaut. I don’t think it was possible to avoid hearing “Let it Go” back in 2013-2014. Why wouldn’t Disney make a sequel? Does it matter that this teaser told us almost nothing? Of course not, start the hype train! I’m pretty sure Disney wants us all talking about this and not ripping on Aladdin anymore, anyway.

One thing I’m sure everyone will agree about; the absolutely stunning visuals of this teaser. The rocks and water Elsa tries and fails to traverse look basically photo-realistic, and the fall aesthetic blows my mind. Then again I’ve always been a fan of the fall aesthetic. Otherwise, we don’t know much about this sequel. The synopsis has Elsa, Anna, and the gang traveling outside of Arendelle. Why leave? Maybe there will be a new character with the power of the fall season? We do see a glimpse of a new character in this teaser.

Whatever the case, let’s hope this sequel continues and builds upon the sisterly relationship of the first Frozen. It was wonderful, it broke our hearts, and it rebuilt our hearts stronger. Considering all the creative minds behind the first film returned for the sequel, fans have good reason to feel confident. Also, let’s start banging the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend drum again. Maybe Disney will move beyond just discussing it.

Frozen 2 is scheduled for release on November 22. If you forget, the inevitable media blitz will certainly remind you.
