Men in Black: International Has Something for Everyone

What do you want? Action? Check. Comedy? Check. Creative gadgets and weapons? Yup yup. Fun main characters? Duh. Sex appeal? Doesn’t get much more sex appeal than Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. If you want it, then it seems Men in Black: International is dead set on giving it to you. I suppose the only questions left regard the story, but really? You’re getting the Thor: Ragnarok AU you always wanted. Just enjoy, friends.

Most of this trailer rehashes what we saw in the first one, with Thompson’s Agent M finding the Men in Black as a method of forcing her way into the organization. We learn that she undergoes this mission after watching MiB agents wipe the memory from her parents, unbeknownst to said agents. She teams with Hemsworth’s Agent H. We also learn the name of their shape-shifting enemy, an alien race named the Hive. Yes, one of those MiB bosses will be a bad guy. Start taking bets on which one.

Otherwise, it’s more of watching two gorgeous, charismatic, awesome actors kick ass with a variety of cool weapons. In many ways, this new movie looks to recapture much of what made the original Men in Black so fun. The tech looks to have come a long way, and we get to discover this new take on the organization right alongside Agent M. It’s fun, it’s funny, it’s visually creative, and it looks like a crazy fun time. And just check out the environmental variety. I love that we get to see a few different locations.

Look, if nothing else, you know you will have a good time watching these two actors have fun on screen again. Just go with it. Where exactly is the issue?

Men in Black: International hits theaters on June 14. Enjoy the ride.
