D&D Live Returns For Star-Studded Red Nose Day, Will Feature Karen Gillan, Brandon Routh

Normally, this part of the year, we’d be gearing up for D&D Live,  to learn about the new D&D adventure and other products, and see all sorts of celebs from both within the gaming world and without play “The World’s Greatest Roleplaying Game” live on Twitch. The event has largely taken the place of D&D’s regular con appearences (they’ve not been at D&D’s former home of GenCon for a while now), and going to the in-person show, where WotC goes all out with replicated shops and a slate of events for fans and professionals alike, has become a bit of a pilgrimage for hardcore fans of the game. But luckily, they can still get their fix.

Earlier today, Dungeons & Dragons announced that D&D Live would indeed be taking place and, like so many such events, will be entirely online. The event will feature appearances from WWE Superstars, comedians, and celebrities brand new to D&D like David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow), Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy), and Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, Legends of Tomorrow). The whole thing will run live on Twitch from June 18th through the 20th under the official name D&D Live: Roll With Advantage, and will benefit the Red Nose Day charity. Check out the full press release and event trailer below, and stay tuned to The Fandomentals for full coverage of the event and all things Dungeons & Dragons
