Award-winning and leading role-playing games publisher Cubicle 7 has gone through a phase of rapid expansion in 2021. Cubicle 7 is the creator of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound, Warhammer 40,000 Wrath and Glory, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition and the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game.
With new lines announced, including Victoriana and a second edition of the popular Doctor Who Roleplaying Game, Cubicle 7 have levelled up and added multiple new hires to its talented team. Now employing 28 people around the World, including 15 full-time staff at its headquarters in Ireland, and over 90 freelance artists, writers, and graphic designers, Cubicle 7 is poised to increase output once again.

Veteran game designer Tim Huckelbury joined the team as a Senior Producer in July. Tim previously worked for Games Workshop as a global community manager and at Fantasy Flight Games as a senior game producer. Tim brings a wealth of experience as a senior producer in the RPG industry having worked as a leader and team manager on numerous products and is well placed to take the helm on lines such as Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory. Cubicle 7 released the striking revised core rulebook for Wrath & Glory in 2020 to much acclaim. A number of exciting W&G supplements were released soon after such as Forsaken System Player’s Guide, Litanies of the Lost and Redacted Records.
After working as a freelance editor and writer for C7 on a number of titles, including WFRP: Altdorf and W&G: Forsaken System Player’s Guide, Tim Cox joins Cubicle 7 as an editor, writer, and designer. Tim previously worked at Fantasy Flight Games as a RPG developer. Tim brings extensive experience to his new role and a lot of enthusiasm. Tim joins the editing team working with senior editor Chris Walz and commissioning editor Síne Quinn.
Accomplished RPG writer Cat Evans joined Cubicle 7 as a producer on Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory having previously worked as a freelance writer for Cubicle 7. Cat will also contribute to upcoming releases for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound and some exciting as yet unannounced titles.
Working for C7 for a year, talented RPG writer Elaine Lithgow takes on the role of Producer on Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. Elaine has worked on every Soulbound supplement since the line launched in May 2020.
With a wealth of experience behind him, Dave Chapman has joined the team to produce Doctor Who: The Roleplaying Game Second Edition. Dave has been writing for tabletop games since the 1980s and offers an abundance of industry experience and expertise, having worked on Cubicle 7’s Doctor Who: The Roleplaying Game since its original launch in 2009. The second edition core rulebook is available to pre-order now and there are many fantastic supplements in the works.
Emmet Byrne has been promoted to Creative Director and will oversee all lines, including Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. Employed by Cubicle 7 since the company relocated to Ireland in 2018, Emmet will work with CEO Dominic McDowall to grow Cubicle 7’s award-winning licensed games as well as launching exciting new and original IPs.
As output has grown, Cubicle 7 continues to expand its customer service team with Andrena Hogan, Tracey Bourke and Cian Whelan coming on board.
Ben Fuller recently joined to assist with company operations. Ben brings years of experience as a project manager to the role and will work closely with the management team to wrangle deadlines, prepare texts for print, forge links with foreign rights partners and much more.
